Sunday 26th August —a monthly contemporary service at St Peter’s with refreshments from 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
At St. Mary's Church Attenborough on Saturday 22nd of September from 10am to 4pm. A day to be still with God to relax, listen and pray. You are invited to spend time with God through times of worship, silence and fellowship. A time and place to reflect and pray in God’s presence away from the usual distractions of everyday
Some resources will be available to help you focus on God through prayer and during times of quiet but you may wish to bring a book, sketching materials or a personal music player with headphones if that is helpful to you.
The day will be relaxed and informal so if this is something you have never done before come and give it a try. The cost of the day is £10.00 with a sandwich lunch and refreshments provided

Monday 10th September at 12 noon—join us for a simple lunch of homemade soup, roll and a pudding followed by board games, a chance to chat, bring your knitting or whatever is your interest to share with others. Suitable for all, including those with dementia and their partners or carers.
Got questions about life? Then this exciting opportunity may be for you! We have an Alpha Course starting in September on Thursday evenings at Toton Churches. Each evening will include a meal, a talk, discussion and a friendly welcoming environment to explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Introductory evening Thursday 27th September. Alpha starts the following week and runs every Thursday until 29th November.

In partnership with The Pilgrims' Friend Society (PFS). Saturday 6th October 10am - 4pm at Toton Methodist Church.
PFS’s Brain and Soul Boosting programme developed and presented by Louise Morse, a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Janet Jacob, a psychogeriatric nurse, who was also a care home manager. They show how God designed old age on purpose: older people are not meant to be passive beneficiaries, but active members of society, especially their churches.

Sunday 14th October 3.30 – 5.30pm at Toton Methodist Church and garden. For anyone who enjoys playing or watching sport. Includes a hot meal.
Annual Service for the Bereaved - Sunday 28th October 4.00 pm at St Peter’s. A short and simple memorial service with a few hymns, some prayers, bible readings and a short address. It is an opportunity to remember our loved ones before God and you will be invited, if you wish, to light a candle in their memory. There will be light refreshments afterwards. Everyone is welcome.
For children aged 4-11 at St Peter's on Wednesday 31st October 6-8pm. Crafts, party games, challenges, apple-bobbing etc. Loads of fun!
