Prayer Breakfast 

8.30am Saturday 21st October at St. Peter's.  A time of praying together from 8.30-9.00 am followed by a simple breakfast of cereal and toast for those who would like to stay. The focus this month is outreach and mission. All are welcome.

Working Party at St Peter's

 Saturday 21st October 10:00am - 2:00pm.  Its that time again, can you help out with various maintenance jobs and cleaning around the church e.g. cutting back hedging, weeding, cleaning windows, painting, etc.? Please come along on the day and remember some of these jobs are dirty!

One World Week Charity Christmas Card and Gift Sale

 Saturday 28th October 10am-12 noon at Beeston Methodist Church Chilwell Road. Refreshments and cake stall also available.

Annual Service for the Bereaved

 Sunday 29th October 4.00pm at St Peter’s.   A short and simple memorial service with a few hymns, some prayers, bible readings and a short address.   It will be an opportunity to remember our loved ones before God and you will be invited, if you wish, to light a candle in their memory.  There will be light refreshments afterwards. Everyone is welcome. 

Light Party

Light Party –Tues 31st Oct  6.00– 8.00pm at St Peter’s. A positive alternative to Halloween for children aged 4-11. There’ll be loads of fun activities including Glow Zone, Neon-Nails, Snacks, Crafts, Dangling Doughnuts and exciting Pumpkin Challenges!

Bring your friends and come dressed in your brightest, gaudiest, neon, luminescent clothes! No witches, ghosts or devils please. Refreshment room available for adults if parents wish to stay.

Methodist Circuit Prayer Breakfast

Saturday 4th November 8.30am at Grangewood  Methodists.  Come along for a simple breakfast and a time of prayer with people from across the circuit.

CHIPPS Workshop - Abuse: How Can We Help?

Saturday 11th  November  10-4pm at Toton Methodist Church. Cost: £15.00p (bring your own lunch). The aim of this workshop is to give an understanding of the different forms of abuse, and how we can best understand and support survivors.     It is suitable for those who support friends & family, children and younger people, and those involved in prayer ministry and pastoral care. CHIPPs (Churches in Pastoral Partnership) is a Pastoral Training & Support Ministry designed to enable and equip Christians from local churches who care for others, both within their church and the wider community. 


 There will be a Confirmation Service at 6.30pm  on Sunday 19th November at St. John’s Church, Beeston.  If you would like more information please speak to Colin or Ali.

Sweaty Church 

 Sunday 11th February 3.30 – 5.30pm  at Toton Methodist Church and garden. For anyone who enjoys playing or watching sport. Includes a hot meal.

Transform Weekend

 13th-15th July 2018 at Walesby Forest. Jesus: yesterday, today, forever.

The weekend is put together by a group of people from the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham who want to give people the opportunity to gather together to worship God, grow in what it means to follow Jesus and have a fun weekend together! The event is for all ages and there is a full separate programme  for children There are also crèche facilities for under 3’s and their carers. The event includes worship, teaching, ministry and seminars.

Naturally Supernatural 2018
