Seeing Lives Transformed through Faith in Christ
Welcome to all Visitors
Toton Churches consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are you are assured a very warm welcome at any of our services (more info here).
Toton has just two Christian churches: the Methodist Church (on the Post Office side of Stapleford Lane) and St Peters Anglican church (further down, across the High Road). See a map of where we are.
In 1987 the two churches pledged to work together in a Covenant relationship. In practice this means that many of the Christian activities in Toton are shared, including some of our Sunday services. You can read the full text of the Covenant. Since January 2019 we now operate as Churches Together In Toton and you can read our covenant here.
The values of Toton Churches are meeting God, valuing people, sharing Jesus, growing spiritually and serving others
Here's a chart of our many areas of activity (pdf). If you want to know about any of these please contact us.
Here is some information about our Pastoral Work.
We aim to be an all-inclusive church. There is disabled access to the both buildings except for 2 smaller upstairs rooms at St Peter’s. Parking spaces are available near the entrances to both churches. Kitchens and toilets are accessible. The audio is amplified and we have a hearing loop, large print newsletters and bibles and accessible website.
If you have questions or are interested in exploring the Christian faith then please come along on a Sunday or contact us directly.
If you are just looking into Christianity you may also like to join an Alpha group. Alpha is a great way to find out more about God and the claims of Christianity. No question is too stupid and you'll find other people also exploring God for the first time. We organise a group usually once a year in the Autumn. For further information, or just a chat about what is involved, contact the Alpha Team Co-ordinator. To learn more see alpha.org
As well as the many church groups listed we also have many community groups meeting in our church buildings. To find out more visit:
